Field Logs: A new video series capturing life as an ambient artist

Introducing my new video series Field Logs!

I have for a long time now been thinking about (and also experimented with) how I want to create mini documentaries of my adventures that try to move away from the fast-paced “YouTube style” and communicate in a different language.

It is not like there is none of this already, but a quick scan through YouTube gives you a few very distinctive styles. You’ve got the vlogger / influencer style, the silent study-with-me-influenced quiet-vlogs, the meme-like-fun-times-synthfluencers, the high energy overly edited and possibly staged videos, and of course the new (possibly forced) “authentic” style.

I have watched many good videos in all of these styles, and I applaud anyone who is actually trying to share their love of music, document their scene, show life on the road etc., but I want to go a bit of a different route. It will probably take a few episodes before I feel like I have really landed the format, but I am very happy with the first episode!

And after a lovely watch party premiere over at Lislegaard.stream I have now published the first episode. I don’t know when the second one will happen as I am trying to go for quality over quantity here, but if you like it, please let me know :)

Screenshot of the live streamed watch party. Lots of positive energy in the chat. Look how happy the host is.
