Video: Live at Ekko Festival Bergen 01.11.2025
In November I played at Ekko Festival in Bergen, and here is the full video recording of that set.
Ekko has been running since 2003 and has hosted artists like Autechre, Biosphere, Floating Points, Holly Herndon, and Jon Hopkins. It is definitely one of Norway’s coolest festivals.
The concert
The venue was dark and filled with haze, creating a really nice atmosphere. In addition to my visuals you can see we had atmospheric stage lights. I am always a bit scared that the person running the lights will “not get it”, but this time I was super happy with the result! Great job!
The set included (as they often do) some new improvised elements and I was really happy about that. The granular chords you can hear in the video on the top of this blog post was something I discovered during my rehearsals before this concert and it was cool to explore this further live on stage. I was a bit tired (like I wrote about in my 2025 in review post), but I think the concert as a whole was a great success! Judging by the response afterwards, people really connected with it.
